January 2023

At YAIPak Outreach everything starts with the Extravagant Love of Christ. God pursues each one of us to redefine our identity, restore our dignity, and remind us how deeply we are loved. With a focus on women, children and veterans, we are witnessing that power of Extravagant Love each day. Our warehouse for donation drop offs and volunteer hours is located at 1255 Paradise Hill Rd. We are open for donations and volunteers on Mondays from 9am to 12pm, Wednesdays from 12 to 2pm, and Thursdays from 5 to 8pm.

A Year In Review - 2022

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Wow! What an unbelievable year we have had. We are so amazed at what the Lord and our community has accomplished in 2022! Here's a look into some of what we could do because of YOUR help!

- PROJECT FOSTER HOPE -

Over 2022 we have seen over 23,000 lives of precious children (local to middle TN) impacted from our Missions Trip to Jellico, TN all the way to our local home communities receiving Back to School supplies by participating in Mayor's Summer Night Lights. We also had the amazing opportunity to do a few school outreaches in Nashville's surrounding areas and be a light to families that did not have their basic needs met.

We have walked with hundreds of children experiencing trauma through Child Protective Services providing Brand NEW items in our Boxes of Joy filled with clothing, age appropriate toys, shoes and hygiene that is their very own. We have met unbelievable families caring for these babies and we have watched these incredibly strong children grow up and be a part of life in our warehouse.

- PROJECT PATRIOT HOPE -

We have served over 3,300 local this year alone through Totes of Hope initiative, setting up a Veterans home with everything they need BRAND NEW for their bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen. Operation Turkey Drop and hundreds of Totes of Hope that are making a house a home for those who have served our country. They have fought for us and it was our time to fight and show up for them. - PROJECT REBUILD HOPE - There was much devastation experienced in 2022 because of natural disaster. Because of your generosity we were able to touch and impact 258,100 people. Whether bring supplies to Eastern KY after flooding or bikes to children who lost everything we were able to share extravagant love in the midst of great loss.

Because one of our goals as an organization is to provide long term care and not leave people in the midst of devastation, we have been able to continue to provide rebuilding supplies for over 750 homes in Waverly, TN. The town of Waverly experienced extreme flooding in August of 2021 and we have been able to continue our support of the people there through Compassion Church Waverly and Hope Center Ministries.

- BE THE HOPE - We moved into PARADISE and it has become HOME! If you have not been able to come and see, please come by for a tour. We would love to show you the miracles taking place! We have set up 2 new microhomes on a grid in Nashville which totals 4 of our own! These homes provide lock and key for our homeless friends transitioning from homelessness to housing for up to 2 years.

YAIPAK TEXAS DIVISION was launched in November!! We were able to announce this new warehouse and location at our annual Be The Hope banquet.

We have experienced our friends on the streets make the choice to recover and have been able to provide almost 30 full sponsorships into long term recovery programs where they can find hope and long term healing.

We have seen many of our friends find HOME and make a move to see life change getting their very own apartments!

TOGETHER we have served and reached approximately 810,000 individuals, doubling our totals from last year!! Through direct and indirect services we have impacted over 23,000 children. It has been an incredible year and we look forward to what 2023 has! We can’t say thank you enough for your impact in making YAIPak Outreach what it truly is!!

May you be wonderfully rewarded for your partnership with us in 2022.

Jolly Merry Christmas

So many stories of amazement and awe of such a great night. Loves touched and changed, smiles on children’s faces and the relief of many parents expressed in their gratitude.

#ProjectFosterHope and #JollyMerryChristmas2022 impacted over 140 children in Foster Care and their foster families. They got to experience Santa coming in on a fire truck , crafts and fun with folks from Mosaic Church and LifePoint Church, and a wonderful hot cocoa bar ! While each child played and enjoyed the fun, their parents got to shop for each child in the family with a helper! They were also presented with Angel Foundation blankets which are so incredibly special. Such a beautiful night! Here are what some families had to say…

“I just want to take the time to let you know how much of a blessing you are. I took my girls to the Jolly Merry Christmas event and I was overwhelmed by the love and giving hearts there. Tammy was my helper and she made my evening. The best takeaway for me was the angel blankets. You just don't know how touched I am by those. May God continue to guide your hearts as you are doing his work here on earth. Love you all and Merry Christmas.” ••C.E••

“I just want to say thank you so much for loving on us foster families last night!! The kids had a great time, the decor was beautiful, and the gifts were such a blessing!! Thank you for all you do, we are so grateful! ” ••E.J••

So much Joy!! In addition to our foster families, this Christmas season we were also able to give Christmas gifts to 123 additional school aged children through CMCSS, 200 Nashville families gifts and food, and fed 300 kids over the Christmas Break.

We are so honored to be a part of THIS community. We are so grateful for all you do to partner with us!

We are so excited and looking forward to our launch of THE RYLEE ROOM in 2023. This room will provide wrap around care to children experiencing trauma and the families who are care for them.

While we will still be packing our Boxes of Joy to send with every child entering the Foster Care system, they will now include a voucher for items that the child and parents can personally pick out when coming to the Rylee Room.

This room is a fully equipped boutique with new clothes, toys, shoes and so much more for any child ages 0-18 years old.

Your Generosity at Work

It's amazing to look back and see all what has happened through the years from starting out of a trunk of a car, now to a 50,000 sq ft warehouse and the announcement of our YAIPAK TEXAS DIVISION at our recent annual banquet.

As we see the blessings over the years we know that it would not have been possible without a great community like you and the support of many selfless individuals who have caught the vision of what is set before us.

Please enjoy THIS VIDEO and see all the amazing things taking place! We look forward to the future and know that God's best is ahead of us.

Volunteer Spotlight

TAMMY BENITEZ

How long have you been volunteering with YAIPak Outreach? I have been volunteering since October 2022

How did you find out about YAIPak Outreach and what made you want to volunteer with us? I am reminded daily of the Father’s love for me, I don’t deserve it, I can’t earn it and I can’t be good enough. It is His love for me that compels me to share with others all He has done, the complete peace and overwhelming joy that only He can provide. The Lord has always been faithful to me when I didn’t deserve it, and He has given me a grateful heart over the years to share His unconditional love, mercy, and grace with everyone I come in contact with. For the last 2 years I prayed daily for Him to show me a specific area in which I could glorify Him in every aspect of my life. That I would continue to see people through His lenses and love them with His heart right where they are on the road to where He wanted them to be. After much prayer for 2 years, asking the Lord for a specific area in which I am to serve. Our CERT meeting in October was scheduled at the YAIPak warehouse for a walk through to see just how their operation of distribution would partner with CERT in a disaster situation. The Lord revealed to me that night exactly how YAIPak was a major piece in the big picture to complete the plan God has for all of us in difficult times and situations in our lives. How each given day we are given opportunities right before our eyes To Love people with unconditional love, without walls or boundaries, to meet the needs of folks regardless the background, upraising, race, status etc. To reflect Our Father’s genuine love, and compassion He has for each of his children. The great commission lived out in our own community.

What’s your favorite part of being at the warehouse? The genuine sincere love felt welcoming I felt from everyone. The overwhelming inviting atmosphere that includes every person that walks through their doors.

What would you tell someone wanting to jump into volunteering? Since the first day I entered the door way of YAIPaks, I tell folks who have a heartfelt desire to truly serve or give back to your community, this is the place to serve, this is the place to feel the presence of Jesus. YAIPak has people who serve there from all walks of life with one common goal and that is to LOVE and SERVE PEOPLE…something we should all strive to do more of each day.
