August 2026

Throughout June and July, our volunteers, community partners, businesses, and supporters came together in a remarkable way to care for children and families across our community. From collecting food and packing bags to preparing school supplies and serving families face-to-face, every act of generosity helped make this impact possible.

A Food Drive that Filled Two Trucks

We are incredibly grateful to George and the team at A&G Truck Beds of Clarksville for organizing an amazing community food drive in support of our FUELING Summer program.

Businesses and individuals throughout our community stepped up and donated more than 18 pallets of food—so much that we had to send a second truck to bring it all back to YAIPAK!

These donations helped us provide food for thousands of children during our summer outreach events. We are deeply thankful for every business, employee, customer, and community member who contributed. Your generosity helped keep shelves stocked, bags filled, and food moving into the hands of families who needed it.

Enjoy a few highlights from this special event. Thank you for being part of the story!

More than 7000 Children Served!

Between our FUELING Summer events and our Back-to-School Outreach, YAIPAK served a total of 7,228 children this summer.

That includes 1,068 children served during our Back-to-School Outreach alone.

Behind those numbers are thousands of packed bags, boxes of food, school supplies, volunteer hours, vehicle lines, conversations, smiles, and families who knew their community was standing beside them.

This level of impact only happens because people show up.

Volunteers gave their time. Businesses collected and donated supplies. Community partners connected families with resources. Supporters gave financially. Staff and team leaders worked countless hours to make sure every detail was handled with care.

On July 18, our Grub Squad food trailer also participated in the CMCSS Back-to-School event, helping provide food for more than 2,000 families.

We are grateful for every opportunity to meet people where they are, offer practical support, and work alongside organizations serving families throughout Montgomery County.

To everyone who helped make this summer possible: thank you.

Giving Back to Those Who Serve Our Schools

YAIPAK also recently hosted a special event for CMCSS employees, including educators, social workers, school counselors, and others who spend their days caring for students and families.

More than 2,500 pounds of goods were distributed to over 100 CMCSS employees as a way of giving back to those who continually pour into our community.

We were honored to serve the people who work every day to support, encourage, educate, and advocate for local children.

Rebuild Hope Beyond Our Community

Even while our warehouse was filled with preparations for FUELING Summer and Back-to-School Outreach, YAIPAK’s disaster-response work continued behind the scenes.

Through Project Rebuild Hope, we were able to provide a truckload of goods that was delivered to Miami and then flown into Venezuela following devastating earthquakes that left tens of thousands of people without homes and caused the tragic loss of many lives.

We also delivered critical supplies to communities affected by devastating flooding in Louisiana and the Texas Hill Country, where thousands of people were displaced from their homes.

Whether the need is across town, across the country, or across international borders, YAIPAK works to respond with practical supplies, trusted partnerships, and hope during moments of crisis.

Monthly Support Keeps Hope Moving

Summer outreach may be wrapping up, but the needs within our community—and beyond—continue throughout the year.

Every month, YAIPAK provides practical support to children in foster care, veterans transitioning into housing, families facing crisis, educators and community partners, disaster survivors, and vulnerable individuals throughout the communities we serve.

Monthly donations give us the dependable support needed to respond when those needs arise. Whether it is food, clothing, hygiene products, household furnishings, emergency supplies, disaster-relief goods, or transportation costs, recurring gifts keep YAIPAK moving both on the front lines and behind the scenes.

Your monthly support helps us reach the people who need help most, even when much of the work is happening quietly and out of public view.

A recurring gift of any amount makes a meaningful difference.

Become a monthly supporter today at YAIPAK.org/give.

Together, we can continue to meet needs, restore dignity, and be the hope wherever we are called to serve.
