SUMMER IS HERE!
YAIPAK is stepping into a season full of service, preparation, and hope. From helping families with children during summer break to preparing for back-to-school needs and continuing to support foster families, there is so much happening across the mission.
Thank you for continuing to serve, give, pray, and support this work. Every act of kindness helps remind someone that they are not forgotten.
Celebrating What You Made Possible
Before we look ahead to summer programs and back-to-school preparations, we want to pause and say thank you.
Over the past several weeks, our community came together through the YAIPAK Social and the Golf Scramble to support the mission of serving children, families, veterans, and individuals in need throughout our region.
Because of the generosity of sponsors, attendees, golfers, volunteers, donors, and community partners, these events were more than fundraisers—they were reminders that hope grows when people come together with a shared purpose.

FUELING Summer for Kids
When school is out, many families feel the added pressure of providing extra meals at home. YAIPAK’s Fueling Summer program helps provide food support for Montgomery County families with school-aged children during summer break.
This program is made possible through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community partners who believe that no child should have to go without food simply because school is out for the summer.
We are grateful for every person helping us pack, organize, distribute, and serve families with kindness and dignity.
Ways to help:
Donate food items
Volunteer on Mondays - report at 9am, distribution from 10am-12pm (weather permitting)
Help spread the word to families with school-aged children who may need support
Give financially to help YAIPAK continue meeting food needs throughout the summer
Back-to-School Event Coming in August
YAIPAK is already preparing for our upcoming Back-to-School event in August. This event is designed to support families who have been identified by school personnel as needing additional assistance as they prepare for the new school year.
Throughout Montgomery County, school counselors, family resource staff, and other school personnel have helped identify families facing significant challenges and have provided those families with a registration link to participate in the event. This collaborative effort helps ensure resources are directed to students and families with the greatest need.
We know that back-to-school season can create financial stress for many households. By working closely with our local schools, we can help ease some of that burden and ensure students begin the school year with the supplies and support they need to succeed.
Preparations are already underway, and we look forward to sharing more details as the event approaches.

Something New Is Coming to the Rylee Room
Something special is coming soon for our foster families through the Rylee Room, and we cannot wait to share more.
The Rylee Room continues to be a place where foster families can receive practical support, encouragement, and needed items as they care for children entering new seasons of life. This new addition will help us serve foster families in an even more meaningful way.
