November 2023

At YAIPak Outreach everything starts with the Extravagant Love of Christ. God pursues each one of us to redefine our identity, restore our dignity, and remind us how deeply we are loved. With a focus on women, children and veterans, we are witnessing that power of Extravagant Love each day. Our warehouse for donation drop-offs and volunteer hours is located at: 1255 Paradise Hill Rd. We are open for donations and volunteers on Mondays from 9am to 12pm, Wednesdays from 12 to 2pm, and Thursdays from 5 to 8pm.

YAIPak Outreach in the Community

Operation Turkey Drop 2023 Mission Accomplished

We are so grateful for the community support to make sure 520 veterans received a meal to share with friends and families in their new homes. Special Thank You to the Fortera Credit Union Team who showed up with 240 turkeys as well as the hands and feet to help load all the runners who did all the deliveries. It was a day of joy that all involved celebrated. One VA case worker said "We wish you could see and understand the tremendous impact the has on our veterans. Their smiles are worth all the effort! And knowing a family can eat together is life-changing. Thank you!

Butterfly Cottage Initiative Update #ProjectFosterHope

32 Days

768 Hours

46080 Minutes

All = a time stamp for life change.

The start of a new beginning. Taking back the power to proceed to the future.

We are a whole month into welcoming our first child into the Butterfly Cottage

We have seen the incredible success and journey that this Cottage can bring to a child.

We got the call on a Friday night and jumped in head first! Our introduction came over the phone and we knew that SMP would be a great fit to take on this journey.

She is smart. She is determined. She is resilient. She is capable. She is chosen. She is important. Above all…

She is LOVED.

We have overcome hard things and we have looked to what’s ahead! We could not be more proud of where she is headed.

College bound and a whole future ahead of her with more support behind her!

You don’t even have to take it from us! Here is what she had to say:

“I have really felt a difference here. I feel better. It feels nice, new. We take it one day at a time. I am learning and I will continue to learn and grow with the healthy supportive people around me. Thank you for everything you all have done. I really appreciate it. It means a lot to me. ~ SMP”

Thank you for being a part of life change. We are better together!

Your Generosity at Work

We all know that some things didn’t happen overnight. Whether childhood trauma, or bad decisions as an adult, things in life can just get messy. We hear a lot of messy stories, flooded with sounds of regret, and followed by hot tears, pouring down their cheeks.

Have you ever made a mistake you wish you could correct?

We work with many people who would like to go back and change that one thing in their life. We work with all ages and multiple backgrounds, but all dealing with trauma.

People like Sylvester Stallone, Elon Musk, Halle Berry, Jennifer Lopez, and others, were either homeless, or grew up in poverty, and yet through making choices and taking responsibility for their lives, have made it through.

For our friends who are taking responsibility for their lives, we may not see their names in headline news, or in big letters at the top of the marquee for a new movie. But what we do find is it they are willing to see their lives changed, to find healing, and hope.

Just like our friend this day, he needed something to change in his life. He wanted things to be better for him and his family. YAIPak Outreach fully funded his opportunity to go into a 12 month faith-based recovery program. We are cheering him on on this new journey so that he will influence the generations coming after him for the better. Taking responsibility is the first step to growing up. Keep going friend. You can make it.
